Roasted Airfryer Potatoes

Roasted Airfryer Potatoes

I recently bought an air fryer and I’m truly having such a fun time with it.

This weekend my cousin asked me to post some easy recipes so I thought I’d do an obvious one first. Roast potatoes are probably one of the best sides to a Sunday lunch. Any lunch for that matter. And after all my skepticism, I honestly am so pleased with the results of this dish.

It took me 25 minutes flat to make this from start to finish.

Did you know: that Air fryers cut calories by up to 80%? The cooking process leaves your meals with a lot less fat. Battered food, spinach, and popcorn cannot be cooked in the air fryer.

Ingredients

2 potatoes, cubed into 8 pieces each

2 sweet potatoes, cut into 3cm rings

2 tsp olive oil

1 tsp Italian herbs

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp sumac

1/2 tsp paprika/chili powder

1/2 tsp salt

cracks of black pepper

Method

  1. In a large bowl, mix all of the above ingredients and massage them well into your potatoes.

  2. Chuck it all in the air fryer basket and level out.

  3. Cook at 195 degrees for 20 minutes.

  4. Enjoy with a roast of plain with a sauce.
